IPIX CEO Clara Conti First Female to Serve on Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund Corporate Council

RESTON, Va. – Nov. 30, 2005 – The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund announced today that it has named IPIX President and CEO Clara Conti the first female member of its Corporate Council. The committee, comprising prominent business leaders and elected officials, advises the fund's board and leadership.

Conti, who has more than 20 years in the security and information technology fields as a leader, innovator and entrepreneur, has piloted IPIX (NASDAQ: IPIX) to a global leadership position as a provider of digital surveillance solutions in both government and commercial spheres. IPIX's technology is currently aiding U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Clara Conti is dedicated to creating good out of difficulty and has a profound sense of patriotism and service," said Jan C. Scruggs, founder and president of the VVMF. "We are honored that Clara is the first female CEO to serve on our Corporate Council."

The council is co-chaired by James V. Kimsey, founding CEO and chairman emeritus of American Online, Inc.; Dr. Christos M. Cotsakos, former CEO of E*TRADE Group; and Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.

The council supports the Memorial Fund's outreach initiatives and is dedicated to instilling future generations with a greater sense of service, sacrifice and responsibility. It is currently helping plan the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Center, to be built underground near The Wall, which will allow the site's millions of annual visitors to learn about the Memorial as well as encourage young people to learn more about the lessons of the Vietnam War.

"It is an honor to join the VVMF's Corporate Council and to be involved in the creation of the Memorial Center and," Conti said. "The council's work is essential to our history and future alike, and I greatly admire the dedication of those involved to advancing education about the impact of the Vietnam War."

With more than four million visitors each year, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is the most frequented memorial in a city of national monuments.

Established in 1979, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is the nonprofit organization authorized by Congress to build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Today, through a series of outreach programs, it is dedicated to preserving the legacy of The Wall, promoting healing, and educating about the impact of the Vietnam War.
