IPIX
IPIX was the first public, commercial foray with interactive media, achieving a $2B market capitalization at its peak. While IPIX survived the dot com bust at the turn of the millennium, the brand and operating assets were eventually acquired by Minds-Eye-View, Inc. (MEV). MEV is a privately held company founded by the original IPIX patent licensor and interactive media inventor, Ford Oxaal.
Today, IPIX offers technology licensing, project support, products, solutions, and services that are dramatically changing the way media is produced and consumed. IPIX products include interactive photography and video hardware and software, and are used in many industries ranging from security to entertainment to advertising.
