Installing the Plug-in

1. Download the iPIX™ PowerPC Plug-in (965k) to your hard drive.
• This download procedure will take approximately 4 minutes with a 56k modem, or 8 minutes with a 28.8 modem.


2. After the download is completed, close your browser and locate the Install iPIX™ PPC Plug-in file, double-click on the icon to launch the Installer.



3. When the dialog box appears, select the browser in which to install the iPIX™ Plug-in and click the Install button. If you have multiple browsers on your computer, you will be prompted to install the Plug-in for each copy.



4. Restart your browser and begin to view iPIX images.



5. To view iPIX images after installing the iPIX™ Plug-in, it is recommended you increase the Preferred Size of your browser's memory allocation to a minimum of 16000Kb. For assistance with this procedure, consult your Macintosh user documentation. Increasing memory allocation is required for iPIX as well as other Macintosh-based Plug-ins. Raising the memory allocation may prevent system errors when utilizing these
   Web browser Plug-ins.
