Federal Sales Manager

Summary:

Manage IPIX's Federal Sales team and develop strategic business plans for major potential Defense and Federal opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic business plans for major potential Defense and Federal opportunities, focusing primarily on US Air Force, US Army and Federal large programs
  • Identify the key business partners to be leveraged to penetrate this market segment
  • Establish contact with Defense and Federal government executives that are responsible for defining future program strategy, to insure that IPIX is known and recognized as the immersive 360 degree leader
  • Assume full responsibility for extremely complex, undefined sales opportunities for existing and new customers
  • Participate in Defense and Federal Workshops / Seminars on an as-needed basis, as a way to develop pre-sales opportunities
  • Develop a sales process for all of Federal Sales
  • Manage a diverse team of Federal Sales Reps
  • Manage and cultivate a pipeline of sales opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Previous Software Sales experience (at least 5 years). Proven track record of growing a Federal sales organization to 20M
  • Proven track record for implementing a Federal Sales Strategy
  • Value-oriented sales approach as opposed to feature-function sales
  • Knowledge of the Defense / Federal Contract Proposal, Selection and Closing cycles, between Government agencies and large Defense Contractors
  • Executive relationships within several Defense / Federal Offices, allowing to leverage existing contacts to setup meetings to influence key deciders
  • Experience in development of Business Plans and Customer proposals
  • Executive relationships within a few large Defense Contractors Companies
  • Engineering, Air Force, Army, Aeronautics, Space Industry, and / or Defense background
  • Communication skills: ability to write clearly, develop and present PowerPoint presentations, ability to speak clearly, and most importantly - the ability to listen
