Immersive Image Linking There are two types of Full 360° images that can be posted to the Web. Full 360° images that function with plug-ins and Full 360° images that function in Java. For instructions on posting either plug-in Full 360° images or Java IPIX® images click on one of the buttons below. For instructions on how to link your tour to an IPIX® Virtual Tour button click here. Some organizations prefer to use an outside Web design firm to assist them in integrating virtual tours into their Web site. IPIX has pre-screened a network of Web design firms that are experts in our technology. To learn more about the IPIX Developer Network and/or find an IPIX Web Pro near you, visit our IDN web site. Note: Starting with Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft has added a new security feature which requires that all file types the server is going to host be registered with the server via MIME types. If you have recently migrated from an earlier server to a 2003 platform, you may notice your tours do not work until these MIME types are added to the server's configuration. The MIME type info is as follows: application/x-ipscript file
extension=ips Update the server with this information and restart the server so the changes take effect. Your IPIX images will now be delivered as they should be! |
